The drive to work is about 10km (yes, it is all metric here and the celcius still messes me up!). Anyways, the drive takes about 10-15 minutes, not bad, right. The interesting thing... there is not one traffic light. Nope, not one. So you may ask, how do you regulate the traffic??? This is done with a very simple concept.... speed bumps. Yep, speed bumps strategically placed where there are intersections, or in some cases, just to slow the traffic in general. The average speed is about 40kmh. But back to the speed bumps, the speed bumps are usually a single 'large' bump, but occasionally they are smaller and in a set of 3. I am convinced the guy that came up with the idea has a brother that owns a 'shock-absorber' company!! One thing is for sure, these speed bumps take a toll on the cars suspension!! And to add, travelling these speed bumps with a full bladder is just torture!!
How is the drive back home?? Any big construction projects??
